12/18 herceptin done so getting there! Also today was the day I had a very important chat with my plastics consultant Miss Ali. She was lovely (and extremely glamorous for a surgeon) but seemed to take all my wants and needs into account while explaining everything that could be done for me. And she is confident she can get my new boobs to be a similar size and shape. I have lots of decisions to make and a lot of thinking to do before my next appointment in May but it looks like surgery will happen end of September with following surgery about 6 months later. Its more complex than I thought with more possible surgery in a few years time as the skin changes due to radiotherapy and may not accept an implant for very long but at least I know I will always be entitled to work if I need it.
