12/20/14 Hawk report: Stalking is more fun with Kevin, but I managed to keep myself amused this morning. Mom and T3 were both at the Square at 6:30, although I didnt realize it at first. I could see her in the dark, but didnt spot T3 at the library until the sun came up. She was first to fly….down to the bushes under her spotlight. She flew back up before I could confirm a catch, and I was content to watch her in a tree until T3 flew over. They both sat until it was tome for me to feed the meter at 8. By the time I got to the car, T3 was gone, so I walked back to where I had seen Mom dive earlier, and sure enough T3 was sitting on the ground w/something. Eventually he took off, hardly able to get airborne w/his HUGE rat in tow. He made it to a streetamp, then into the trees, where I thought he should be left to eat in peace. Mom was watching as I left.
