12.29.14 - HOA - Monroe County, East Stroudsburg, PA - Habitat for Humanity home in East Stroudsburg needs a family, poconorecord[dot]com Monroe County, Pennsylvania is one of the most abusive and predatory areas of the country in my opinion and experience, for the HOA criminality and property thefts. The entire range of crimes against the most vulnerable and unsuspecting, law abiding, bill paying and rule following HOA homeowner is unthinkable. These horrific acts carried out with the help of some in (or who were in) the judiciary, who ignore the laws at will for their friends, at least one criminal HOA attorney who will commit any fraud upon the courts imaginable, incompetent attorneys and/or your own attorney to throw you under the bus for more money from the other side, or if they mess up your case they can get a portion of all the money from your home and equity that they are allowing them to steal! Innocent HOA homeowners are denied the lawful protections they are deserving of, including being denied their rights and due process when they are targeted, farmed, combed, slapped, framed, or other by an abusive, predatory and criminal HOA board, an HOA attorney and any other accomplices, they may employ, even some HOA neighbors. It is my understanding some individual Habitat for Humanity chapters stopped building any homes in HOAs and for understandable and obvious reasons, I suspect. Aside from the nasty attitudes of other HOA homeowners towards these new residents (how could they ever be equal to them and so on), another reason is no one, no family, who was homeless, wants to run the risk again, of becoming homeless. HOAs, and especially in this locale, are too predatory and finances concerning the properties cannot be managed, nor will HOA boards be held accountable for mismanagement, self serving deals, or criminality among the boards, or horrible acts of discrimination, that will cost the homeowners undue amounts, or their homes.
