12 April It was the last league game of the season for the firsts as they took on Bredon Star RFC in a clash of 2nd v. 3rd place in the league. Bredon put in a formidable performance and came out 27-17 on top. However, after a difficult first half Brendans came out firing in the second half, demonstrating what they are capable of and really taking the game to the opposition. Bredon brought a busload of supporters to the game and the great atmosphere on the sideline continued in the pub afterwards, as both clubs joined together in a good old fashioned singsong. Congratulations to both Bredon Star and Old Cryptians on gaining promotion to Gloucester 1. They certainly deserve it and we wish them all the best for next season.
