12 Customs collectors file resignation ABS-CBNnews MANILA, Philippines – Twelve of the 57 port collectors of the Bureau of Customs (BOC) submitted their "courtesy resignation" to Commissioner Rufino Biazon on Saturday. The port collectors complied with Biazon’s directive to vacate their posts to give way for a reassignment as part of the agency’s reform. Among those who filedwere the so-called “Three Kings” of Customs--Dist. Collector Carlos So of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Port of Manila Dist. Collector Rogel Gatchalian and Manila International Container Port Dist. Collector Ricardo Belmonte. Belmonte is the brother of House Speaker Feliciano Belmonte. Those who also complied included Edward Dela Cuesta of Cebu, Oswaldo Geli of Surigao, Eduard James Dybuco of Davao, Adelina Molina of Subic, Ronnie Silvestre of Clark, and Darwisha Shuck of Zamboanga.
