12 DAY COUNT DOWN TO MOTHER LODE SHOW. Today we are going to APPRECIATE our exhibitors and sponsors now that the Regional show in Santa Barbara is in the history books. Kelly is busy entering the data from the horse show entries that have been mailed in based on our closing date of August 15. Historically, we get a rush after that date based on how folks do at the Regional show. Please send your entries in as soon as possible so that Kelly is not swamped at the Mother Lode. We also get a rush of last minute sponsors as many of our exhibitors sponsor classes at both of these shows. Today, we received a $200 sponsorship from Silver Creek Stables which we are very grateful for. Thank you to Susan Carlino and Lorraine Bumb. Kelly advised that she received a $500 donation/sponsorship from JoAnn Gillespie of Rawking Horse Ranch. That is two years in a row that JoAnn has been able to obtain a donation of this size. I dont have all the details on who donated the money but JoAnn is responsible for the marketing effort. Thank you so much JoAnn. We will get the details and honor them for their generous support. Our goal for sponsors this year is $6,000 and to date we are at $5,050. Almost there.
