12 Fell sick at Marhama after taking water from the Lacal Reservoir:: Anantnag, June 17: ( 11.35 PM) More than a dozen persons fell sick at Marhama ,Sangam in Anantnag district including some kids and girls when they complained of stomach and abdominal pain after taking the Water from the Reservoir of Marhama late this evening. Seven of them were admitted in Sub District Hospital Bijbehara. Rumors spread in the area that Some Poisonous substance has been dropped in the Reservoir by some Persons. The Doctor attending the patients at the SD Hospital told Sachnews that they ( Doctors) are trying to ascertain the cause of the ailment and cant say anything this time.
