12 July 2103 Dear neighbour, We the owners of the property 281 great western Highway, Walang are in the process of preparing a development application to Bathurst regional council for the extraction and processing of basalt from this property. All immediate neighbours will be notified of this proposal with the net notion of canvassing concerns so as to have those concerns addressed in the design and function of the proposed works. The scale of the proses works is relatively small and the intention is to operate it as a family business. Considering thought has been given to mitigating and any adverse aspects the proposed works would have and these will be outlined in a statement of environmental effects. This statement of environment effects can only be made available, if requested when completed. Drawings of the location and the extent of the proposed works will also be available, on request.
