12 Photos taken today at 430PM, December 7, 2014 before Typhoon Ruby Hagupit is expected to affect Coron and Calamianes Group of Islands in the next few hours. Learning our lessons from Supertyphoon Yolanda Haiyan this time Coron is more prepared. A continuous public announcement or bandillo is roving around the town, forced evacuation is imposed especially for coastal villagers, relief goods are packed, volunteers on posts already, local people are more updated, roofs are reinforced with wires and nylons, tourists are audited, all passenger boats are secured and advised not to sail early as expected, other potential evacuation areas were identified and other precautionary measures. We also equipt our homes with basic provisions and prayers. GOD is in CONTROL! Again, Coron will be tested by this Calamity and we braced our families, houses & properties with the Mighty Hand of the Creator.
