12 Rules of Racial Equality Engagement by Riyaad Giovanni: 1. No longer debate the validity of white supremacy and its affect on black people. White people can play gullible and even deny the results of their collective actions all they wish. This does not take away from the truthfulness and reality from which we black Americans live. Debating or even discussing this matter in a seeking approval, hypothetical manner only serves to disarm the struggle and keep progress from being made. Also it allows white people to stay in a state of self encapsulated limbo on this matter. This subject will only be discussed in a factual fact finding manner, while anything to the contrary will be viewed as lies, misinformation and a staunch effort to keep us marginalized. 2. The only credible experts to speak on behalf of black America are HBCU graduates and/or Professors, widely accepted and loved grassroots organizers and leaders who maintain an integrity not only for the cause but within their marital & parental relations. 3. If a black person works for one of the major news organizations they are agent provocateurs until proven otherwise. 4. No action without an end plan! I will not march, speak, rally, give money, support any organization that does not have an end result to bring an economic change to the black community. 5. I will not engage another black person on the merits of the cause and what should or should not be adhered to. I will just work! 6. I will not pay homage to those past leaders who failed at family life. As family life is the backbone of any movement and this is one of the failures of black society that has us in such a state of disarray and subjugation. 7. I will not make excuses for the people I love and I will hold them accountable by minimizing or maximizing the amount of time spent together in direct correlation to the effort they put forth towards the equality of black people. 8. I will constantly educate myself traditional and non traditional. 9. I will learn sustainable agriculture and farming techniques. 10. I will mentor a minimum of three youth. 11. I will spend at least 50% of my income at black business or purchase products produced by black companies. 12. I will not be side tracked by religious doctrine. I will and am willing to engage with any black person of any faith to advance our just cause of equality.
