12 Years a Slave....... The movie might make you uneasy, and easily can be termed as extremely boring, and over-rated ....... any person sitting next to you ..... you might look at them and ask.....WTF is this movie???.......like every 5 min......you can ask same question... and 60 times if you yawn in a min....you might as well get qualified for Guinness book of world record......the movie is capable to help you achieve that.... So when we get into the math for number of time we yawn..... obviously we certify it to be unwatchable.... You will hate this movie if you go with the company...... For this movie i felt for the 1st time..... some movie needs serious involvement and even a slightest of distraction .....you lose the grip.... But if you manage to sail it till between ..... you will want to switch off your cell and stay with it till the end..... Solomon Northwest a highly talented NIGRO and a instrument player...... gets tricked and kidnapped and then sold and slaved....... He is among the many victims who are claimed to be kidnapped and slaved in early 1850s...... The Slavery without mercy.... where if you die...you find peace.... Moments where you think you dont have enough gutts to kill yourself ..... gives a feeling you arent only a slave to a white person.... you are a slave to your life as well...... Fear to ask for a freedom..... your friend dies right in front of you but... you are so slaved that you continue doing your work.... where your women is striped in front of you and you have to do nothing but be a spectator..... Brutal is understatement ...... Slavery is legalized...it becomes rule of the land to exploit the black..... they aint human anymore..... but termed as their property..... Obviously i offer my sympathy to the victims....and should not happen to anyone..... I dont know the name of the black guy who lead the movie.... Solomon Northup is what they name him ....Platt is what they call him when slaved.... The portrayal of the domination is extremely brutal....but the portrayal of the suffering is very heart touching....every expression makes you wish to break the shackles and run away from the dominance...... I would watch it few more time in life when alone.... . . So we always learn from what the life teaches us..... And we have movies like this which makes you feel....if ever life would have choose to teach me this lesson.... i would have given up on life.
