12 Years ago as we were doing our morning PT we did not anticipate what happened. I remember every bit of that morning and the horrific assault on our people and our land. I really have a hard time looking at those images as they are a reminder of not only that day but of what has followed. Friends/brothers and sisters Gone. Forever. They will never be forgotten is what we have said. I fear the memory is fading in some people. Look around and tell me that I am wrong. That those that perished that day and after, have not become nothing. I refuse to believe that. I wish that they were here with us and we never entered into this nightmare. We have lost brothers in arms, fellow firefighters, police and other EMS personnel, and a maybe a little of our arrogance; do not let this be the reminder that we have, let their loss and all of our blood/sweat and tears be our inspiration to move forth and live the lives they could not. In their memory, let us be the best patriots we can be. Let us be American. Echo 5 Sierra Out.
