12 months today since that dreaded phone call called us to hospital. Seems like forever ago. We have grown so much stronger as a family. We have learnt so much over the year and still learning today. As I look back I see the times its almost broke us but I also see the times where we have beaten it. From a very young age I had a sneaking suspicion that Darcie was extraordinarily special and this was proved March 30 last year. She can and she has handled this. She gives us our strength to keep going. Shes positive and shes strong, stronger than anyone I know. Shes brave, caring and always considerate of others AND shes my girl. I love you endlessly Darcie Jean. Its a fight well fight for the rest of your life but fight it we will, it wont beat us :)
