12 of the 23 Indomitable Cubs just arrived in Yaounde at about 6:00am today. Absent from the group were Alex Song(surprised?), Joel Matip, Assou-Ekoto, Choupo Mouting, the Coach Volker Finker among others. Over a hundred Cameroonians braved the rain and cold of the night to wait for the cubs, this time around not with praise-singing placards but with bags full of stones and other dangerous apparel. Fecafoot had taken measures to counter such acts: there were two trucks of riot police waiting at the airport from 1am, since the flight was to land at 3am. The gendarmes in riot gear nevertheless suceeded to escort the lions - oh, kittens- to their various destinations scattered over Yde. They did not drive in one vehicle, but in separate private cars: Fecafools could not bring the bus there for it would have been a very good target for the determined Cameroonians who were waiting along the Nsimalen-Yde road with bags full of appropriate welcome material lmao!!!.
