12 years ago tomorrow marks a time in all of our lives that we will never ever forget. I was a first year principal at a conference in Greensboro when we heard that something happened to one of the twin towers just before the conference began. At our next break, we were out in the lobby watching the tv as one of the twin towers came down. I remember making the comment that we would be going to war over this. At noon, I left the conference prematurely to go back to my school to make sure everything was okay. By Friday I was on a plane to attend a retirement dinner for my Uncle where we flew over the fires at ground zero. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone involved and I will never forget
