120 kg nagshatri seized, three arrested Doda police has claimed to seized 120 kg of nagshatri and arrested three persons. As per police on a specific information that a Xylo bearing no JK02W5392 coming from Kishtwar to jammu is carrying Nagchatri, SHO Sub inspector Surinder Chib under the supervision of SP Doda Arif Rishu Laid a Naka at Assar and after the search they found 120 kg Nagshatri in the travelling bags. Police arrested the three persons identified as Sher Mohd, Nazir Ahmed and Vipan Kumar. Police has registered a case in this regard at police station Bhaderwah. It is pertain to mention here that last month DFO Doda seized 18 Qt of Nagshatri at Doda and arrested seven persons in this connection and they all were the resident of Distt chamba of Himachal Pradesh. Nagshatri is a forest herb and it found on the height of the mountains, similarly last month doda Police had arrested two persons and also seized nagshatri at Pul Doda. Jammu Police along with the forest officer also seiz. Nagshatri and arrested two persons at Nagrota Check post Jammu. In Kishtwar, Doda and Bhaderwah some persons are involved in the smuggling in the these areas and they are in contact with the smugglers of the out side states .
