12472. Tricky to be writing in what feels like such a random, unfocused fashion. When I was writing Notes From The Future, I wrote for what I hoped was an audience of avid readers. I know that maybe three people have read the entire thing, but I still wrote with immediate publication in mind. This rampaging locomotive approach to writing -- full speed, damn the torpedoes, walk the shark, jump the plank -- feels disconnected. Nobodys reading what Ive written. Not even me. I want to avoid the temptation to edit as I go. Still, nice to have broken the 10,000 word barrier on Day 4. Heres hoping that, if the current project is ever published, people will actually read it. #NaNoWriMo
