#12676 After much deliberation I decided I cant support the bus drivers in their stubbornness to accept the deal offered to them by the city. The city seems to be doing all the work for the people, including arranging refunds, posting methods of alternate transport, and even agreeing to buy the city 10 brand new busses. The union COULD have stipulated they wanted new busses or certain routes improved to assist the city of Saskatoon. But theyve done nothing but whine and complain about their pensions and pay. They could cross the picket line and offer to drive people at bus rate fares using their own vehicles but they havent. However this morning I got a ride to the university from a city councillor FOR FREE. Bus drivers = selfish. Accept the very generous very proactive offer already offered. If you think you deserve more you can make your case in 4 more years, because at this point Im shutting my ears. With the kind of attitude youve had, all about me, you dont deserve our support. Thanks for hurting students, the mobility helpless, and the elderly. My confession is I farted in the city councillors car. I pretended it wasnt me. But I was the only other person in there.
