127 Nabbed in Island-Wide Crackdown on Loansharking Activities #sgpolicearrest During the island-wide anti-loansharking operation that took place between 6 and 8 January 2015, officers from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and the six Police land divisions conducted simultaneous raids at multiple locations in Singapore. A total of 84 men and 43 women, aged between 17 and 67, were arrested for suspected involvement in loansharking activities.
