12th National Federation Cup Jr. Athletics Tournament result updates: Shot Put - Men - Shakti Solanki, a SAF junior gold medalist, came second with a throw of 17.93m and booked a berth for the Asian Junior Championships. 100m Run - Women - Dutee Chand shattered junior national record in 100m dash to qualify for World Junior Athletic Championship, to be held at Eugene in United States. Dutee clocked a remarkable 11.63 secs, that erased by a huge margin, the earlier national junior record of 11.75s held by Saraswati Dey since 1996.
