12th November 2014: Just home from delivering some medium-sized (red) Panel paintings to Letchworth Arts Centre where they are being used to dress a set for a TV programme over the next couple of days...meanwhile the pair of metre square paintings being developed to explore an idea drawn from a blocked-up window in New Yorks Meat-packing area are coming on rather nicely...Im trying to get away from a too-literal representation of the window but at the same time convey the sense of it, the colour of the degraded panels, textures etc...possibly their current looks a little too Sean Scully at the moment so they need to rest a while and I need to have another good think about them...
