12th of Dec.,2014.*AWAKE SAINTS, Awake from your Slumber*.Daily Devotion with OMOOBA(ERUJEJE c)2014. ACTS OF THE APOSTLES. Previously on this series,we talked about how REVIVAL broke forth in all regions that the Apostles stepped into. Drastic turning of mans hearts from the WORSHIP of IDOLS is one of the features of true revival. In the great revival of Apostle Babalola of CAC,there was this dreadful tree right in front of the Kings palace;“The Oba Owa Obokun of Ijesha land”. Men worshipped the tree way back in the 1940s.But, at the instruction of the Holy spirit,Babalola pulled down the tree. It was expected that Babalola would die within three days,but he never did. That marked the end of an era of worship of the great tree. The King became born again and a wave of revival broke forth. Lets us consider another feature of true revival. 2)The WORD grows and prevails. After men renounced their gods by the public display and burning with fire all their fetish and occultic materials,some thing drastic happened. Acts19v20: so mightily grew the WORD of God and prevailed. When REVIVAL breaks forth,the WORD begins to permeate the souls of men. The word causes men to grow in wisdom and spiritual stature. When the word prevails,it does prevail over self nature,the will,the interest and ambition of man. When the word prevails,every man comes into a maturity status that compel him or her to say“my business is to do only the WILL of him that has sent me.” May THE WORD GROW and PREVAIL in our lives IJN.
