13/1/15 STORMS FOR SEQLD TOMORROW! * Dot for newsfeed share to family n friends * • A surface trough is forecast to shift East tomorrow and stretch from the NW to SE parts of the state. • Remember you can support HSC by purchasing our app... Go to the store and search Higgins stormchasing! • This trough is likely to produce a band or line of showers, storms and rain areas with possibly severe storms containing Heavy Rain and Damaging Winds. • It should start out over inland areas earlier in the day from about Mt Isa, Longreach, Charleville and progress East reaching Brisbane, Ipswich, Gold and Sunshine Coasts later in the afternoon. • There is cloud cover expected so severe storms and general storms may be suppressed somewhat over Southern areas... The hotter it gets the bigger the storms. • Instability extends further North on Thursday so areas North of Gympie will have a good chance of storms then :) Image 1: Push notification Image 2: QLD state storm probabilities at 4pm tomorrow Orange and Yellow shaded areas.
