#13 Cliff Matthews Let me be the first to say SORRY CLIFF, YOU GOT SCREWED!!! Its no shock that Cliff wasnt ranked in the top 10 with the bias toward the 60s-80s players. Cliff is the best player from MY generation. Im defining My Generation as players that started playing in the late 80s and 90s, such as myself, Brad Lebo, Greg Newport, Matthew Mccaslin, Tom Butler, Cliff, Mike Brown, Todd Barfield, Tony Varnadore, Rusty Taylor, Bart Bason, Thomas Rawles, Jim W Cruse, etc, etc, etc. I bet just about every player (probably all) I just mentioned would consider Cliff as the best player of our generation. This is just my opinion, but I feel like Cliff being named #13 greatest player of all time is incredibly disrespectful and a slap in the face to everyone from my generation. Once again, those are just my words. Dont get me wrong, I have no issue with my own ranking, but this one pisses me off. The fact that Cliff isnt in the HoF yet and the fact that were playing the Nationals in Lake Charles and hes still not going in is just disrespectful to the PPA. I cant wait until he wins his 3rd nationals in 2 weeks. Maybe that will be enough to get him in the HoF by 2032.
