13. I don’t like the term feminist. I prefer to call myself a humanist. Do you believe in the equality of men and women? Congratulations! Youre a humanist and a feminist. Look at you. This occurred to me yesterday: If you only know feminism from that annoying chick in your womens studies class and anti-feminists like Karen Straughan, youre the equivalent of the liberal who only knows libertarianism from the annoying neckbeard at the gun show and Salon. Which is to say, you dont. And thats fine, no one can know everything, but just, be aware.
