13 years ago today, our country was attacked. 13 years ago today, the unthinkable happened. I was stationed at Camp Lejeune, NC when the news reports started to come in. I remember being scared and pissed off all at the same time. We are the United States of America, this doesnt happen to us! The news reports kept coming in, each one more grim than the last. We had a formation in front of the company building, and orders were given. Each Marine was to go to the armory, withdraw his weapon, and be on high alert.
