13 years ago,tomorrow, on a beautiful Tuesday morning September 11, 2001, I was doing my job on the 9th floor in a building, downtown NYC just a couple of blocks of what would become later that day, ground zero. Never in my wildest dream would I have thought that the most devastating terrorist attack would occur. Had I known, I would have never left my house that morning at 5:00 am. I remember my trip in a livery cab, and as we drove thru the downtown Brooklyn promenade, I admired what I used to call, my NYC post cards. The beauty of the twin towers, at the break of dawn with all the lights, indescribable. Today, 13 yrs. later, I have moved forward, and I thank God because I made it out of the city unharmed. I dont live in Brooklyn anymore, however, I do remember the tight security on the train stations and on the bridges. What I would like to tell all my friends and family is, say a prayer, for those, who unlike me, could not move forward, because they were not lucky enough to make it home that day. Remember our heroes who, while people were running out, were running in to save whomever they could save, but at the end did not make it out in time. Say a prayer for the family members who lost a husband/dad/brother/sister/wife/mom, daughter/son... say a prayer for all of the U.S.A. so we can move forward and never have to relive this experience again. MAY WE NEVER FORGET THOSE WHO DIED HELPING OTHERS AND WHO ARE STILL FIGHTING SO WE NEVER HAVE ANOTHER 9/11 AGAIN. GOD BLESS AMERICA.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
