1300 853 437 Dads in Distress Support Services (DIDSS) has impacted literally thousands of families, saved untold men on the brink of suicide, and seen many children reunited with their fathers, grandparents and extended families. DIDSS Support Groups or field workers operate in just about every State in Australia with some 150 volunteers, plus several funded support staff including a national manager, three project co-ordinators, admin staff, and a Board of Directors. DIDSS operates a 24/7 crisis line to support men around the clock and around the country. DIDSS representatives participate in a host of national, state and local partnerships and initiatives and are highly regarded as key stakeholders by the Child Support Agency (CSA), the Family Law Pathways Network, and the National Men and Family Relationships. DIDSS is a registered harm prevention charity funded largely by the Federal Government, and a major player in the men’s movement. Through its website DIDSS is having a global impact by assisting other like-minded groups and supporting many other dads in distress throughout the world. dadsindistress.asn.au/www/home/
