14-0, wow! So proud of my team and staff on a great start to our season. Now, the grind of the biggest, baddest conference in the country lies in front of us, the toughest 75 days in all of sports. 16 games against the best players in the country and Hall of Fame Coaches. The fall is behind us, one non conference left. How about our girls having a team GPA of a 3.08, 11 of 14 with a 3.0 or better. The Schaefer kid made The Presidential Scholar List (3.82), another young lady from Texas, Ketara Chapel made the Deans Scholar list. Our sophomore class has a streak of 3.0 or better since there arrival here in Starkville at State. Victoria Vivians made SEC Freshman of the Week again. Her and Morgan William have earned the award this season already. She also was on The All Tournament Team out in Las Vegas. Merry Christmas everyone.
