14/12/2014 Todays fast tracks have been sent! * Reminder * If you find a security exploit within MTV/PV, and you tell us about it (without first trying to cashout/spend your illgotten gains - well give you a $100 cash finders fee! Todays news is in progress, ill reply to this thread, and edit this post, throughout the day with updates. SloSumo is doing an awesome job with the tickets + paypal disputes. Theyre pretty much all caught up. And tickets in general are way down, 488 active tickets right now. 80 or so need my attention... So thats looking good! SloSumo is also working through the paypal disputes, approving ones whos campaigns didnt activate. And instantly banning + contesting any users attempting to chargeback an active campaign.... We have a zero tolerance policy with PP chargebacks. The programmers are busy working on the site, I dont know when well perform the downtime to switch to the new datacenter.... Right now Yan is preparing the servers, and the programmers (Alex, Daniel, Paul & a bit of Lucas) are overhauling our code server configs in general. Its a lot of work for absolutely no visual difference - but this is all about the core mechanics of the site, and ultimately whether it works or not at scale. So its vital & key to the website loading quickly. Once were transferred over to the new datacenter and the website is ready for crazy traffic. Im likely going to dip into another $100k or so of development funding to buyback shares - with the intention of spiking a PV result to basically announce our new-found capacity! * Lucas will also put the share buyback product on the portfolio ASAP, then we can put the weekly dividends back into the result cards along with any share re-sales at a later date. ** But before I do that, hopefully Lucas will have the liabilities shareholder page ready. And then well perform another liquidity report, to see the status of our dev funding before we make the final decision on how to use it. Yesterday I posted the first drafts of the specs for Crowd FAQ: https://dl.dropboxusercontent/u/74988359/crowd-faq.txt And the upcoming programming queue / staff billing mechanism / user part owership of our portfolio products: https://dl.dropboxusercontent/u/74988359/programmingqueue.txt These are the two big upcoming evolutions of MTV, to really turn our system into a crowd funding machine, where users both conceptualize + fund all sorts of projects both online & offline. Carlos is also working on a number of things, first and foremost to open two new bank accounts; one in Switzerland and another in Mauritious. The latter will be able to send/receive wires up to $100k. So we can increase our current $3k deposit/cashout limit via bank wires. And were also looking into an offshore company thing; which basically enables you to run your own bank; in everything but name... So its a pretty complete package. Anyway Carlos has been researching this for a while, and therell be a way to go yet. But this is in the pipeline. We should also hear something next week from PayPal regarding accepting credit cards via BrainTree. We have our account manager pulling strings to get us approved there. Neteller is in Pauls hands, I expect thatll be installed later this week - once the server transition has been concluded. And just for your info, here is a report that PayPal sent us the other day; after one idiot made 30+ transaction of $1.38 via credit card, then charged them all back - only $30 worth of fraud; but the credit card chargeback fines are the problem; $25 a hit. But PP should be writing those off for us this time (otherwie thatd be $500+ in fees for $30 of fraud from one individual- which is silly)... And this is the reason for the upcoming limit of 1 transaction per day for new users, and 2 transactions per day for trusted users: https://dl.dropboxusercontent/u/74988359/FuturosNegocios.pdf But as you can see, our levels of fraud are incredibly low; to the point where one bad individual stands out like crazy... And most disputes we win anyway; the only ones we lose are compromised PP accounts and full on credit card fraud. Which is very rare.... Hence the reason PayPal loves us LOL Im not sure what im doing about a PV AD Issue today... I want to see how the programmers proceed & whether we move over later today or not. And Cashouts ill pay tomorrow. The programmers are messing with all sorts of code and we need to check its all working before we process the $30k+ worth of pending cashouts. Meanwhile, Ill try and improve the layout of the Shareholder control panel today... As that section is basically our future, but right now its super basic / ugly!
