14 But John kept objecting and said, “I ought to be baptized by you. Why have you come to me?” 15 Jesus answered, “For now this is how it should be, because WE MUST DO ALL THAT GOD WANTS US TO DO.” Then John agreed. 16 So Jesus was baptized. And as soon as He came out of the water, the sky opened, and He saw the Spirit of God coming down on Him like a dove. 17 Then a voice from heaven said, “This is my own dear Son, and I am pleased with Him.” Are these the words you want to hear? I AM PLEASED WITH HIM/HER? Take note, this is how it happens, We must do all that God wants us to do, (for thus it becometh us to fulfill all righteousness. Then he suffered Him. KJV) fulfill all Gods righteousness, then you will be counted good and acceptable. Jesus knew this and to the end this is what He did, He obeyed the Father in everything. Be it going to: 13 Leaving Nazareth, He went and lived in Capernaum, which was by the lake in the area of Zebulun and Naphtali— 14 to fulfill what was said through the prophet Isaiah:~Matthew 4 or at the very end John 19:28 Later, knowing that everything had now been finished, and so that Scripture would be fulfilled, Jesus said, “I am thirsty.” 29 A jar of wine vinegar was there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put the sponge on a stalk of the hyssop plant, and lifted it to Jesus’ lips. 30 When He had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, He bowed his head and gave up his spirit. Jesus set the example and this is how we must also live, always according to the will of the Father, fully submitted and humble. Jesus came to teach us the full application of the will of the Father, not to give us a get out of hell free pass. It has always been about obedience and ultimately LOVE.
