14 SEPTEMBER 2014(1) WHAT IS GODS NAME CONTINUED.... Genesis 1;1 In the beginning God(Elohim) created the heaven(s) and the earth. Many people today still do not know that the name Elohim is plural. It means rulers,judges,magistrates,Angels and some men assert that the word is plural because of Gods majesty and some because God is a trinity. Hear some say Jehovah Elohim-loosely meaning Jehovah Judges(rulers,magistrates,angels). And most say this NOT because they STUDIED for THEMSELVES but BECAUSE THEY HEARD SOMEONE ELSE SAY IT. Beware lest you utter senselessness thinking that you are praising God. The revelation must be personal. Do Not call God something you do not know in full. Exodus 6:3 And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them. *There is No such word/name as Jehovah in hebrew because Hebrew does not have the letter j and the letter v. When God said to Moses my name is I Am,theologically,that was called the Tetragrammaton(four-letter-word). This is because God had said my name is YHWH(sounds like breathing out when pronouncing lol). No Vowels. Seeing this pronounciation challenge,they called God Adonai meaning Lord. They believed Gods name was too holy to be pronounced! In Hebrew when you say Y you say yod. Anyone saying the letter y will therefore say yod...the letter h is hey...the letter w is vav...then mix that you get; Yod Hey Vav Hey or YHWH. From there we got Yehovah..you can fill in the blanks now. Over time,Jehovah and Adonai were used interchangeably. Hence in your bible it is written,the LORD...the LORD God even where Yhwh was written. Where you see the LORD it means,four letter word. You might as well say I praise you my four-letter word . So just because the words sound godly that does not make them have godly meanings. Jehovah has been the most pre-dominant name used for God and yet it is not even an original name for God but man-made for pronounciation that appeals to men. It is Jehovah who said the day you eat of thag tree you shall surely die How could God say death? Out of one mouth cannot come death and life...bitter water and sweet water. Lamentations 3;38 Out of the mouth of the most High proceedeth not good and evil? You should also know that the hebrew manuscripts had no comma,full stop or question mark. So the verse is actually not a question but a statement that the most High does not have a mouth to speak good and evil. Therefore Jehovah is not only not the name of the living God but also not the God who now lives in us because Jehovah speaks death. (We will further explore Jehovah again) Two cannot walk lest they be agreed. Once you know Gods name and you call it,God responds by saying I am and when He responds you are no longer two but one. Enoch successfully called Gods name and He was synchronized with God till the world called Death could not trace and find him anymore. People have been allowing a pre-dominant revelation of Gods name to prevail over them and thus till today,The God who took away Enoch..is but a distant fantasy because we have not seen Him at work. All we have seen and heard has been the worship and reverrence of Sin and Death. The Sin and Death that teaches worship from victimization rather than the independance in life. Therefore the names ascribed to God are still not in the God standard but manward..ascending towards a supreme being. To Be Continued......
