14 mushers have left Sourdough checkpoint headed for Mendeltna. Nicolas Petit is first out, currently traveling 9.3 MPH, with an estimated arrival time of 4:57 am tomorrow morning. The last of the 14 front runners is Robert Redington, who is estimated to arrive at Mendeltna around 12 pm tomorrow. Most mushers have between 3 1/2 and 5 hours of rest time remaining. Remember there is the start differential as well which will be factored in. This group continues to be very competitive with one another. We will see what the morning brings in Mendeltna.
