14 years ago, I got a fifth conviction felony drunk driving. I did - TopicsExpress

14 years ago, I got a fifth conviction felony drunk driving. I did over a year in jail, half on work release, I was on probation for 3 years and I paid over $8,000 dollars in fines and probation fees. Yesterday, the Fitchburg police showed up and said I was under arrest for contempt of court. I had been sent a couple of notices saying that they needed a DNA sample because of that 14 year old offense. Me being me, I called HORSE-SHIT and blew them off. If they needed it, as far as I was concerned, they should have gotten it 14 years ago. I did however know that they would show up eventually. So, after spending the better part of yesterday, last night and today in jail, I was released on a signature bond ($1000). I have to go back November fourth and get the rest of his straightened out. It seems that since I made them work to get the sample they thought they needed oh so badly, they are going to make me jump through some hoops to get it straightened out. Yeah, I have more than a little contempt for their court. I think they waited too damn long. I dont like people who abuse their power, and I am going to let them know this on November fourth. I guess I better vote first, just in case, huh?
