#14438 I was one of the first people on the bus today, so i was able to pick out my own seat. a couple stops later, the bus still wasnt full, but this lady decided to sit down by me. there were other empty seats, but no big deal i thought to myself. Im tall and a guy, so naturally i need to spread my legs more than the average person. this lady, however, was a complete jerk about it. first she tries pushing against my legs to get me to close them, which i resisted. eventually she turns to me and told me to close my F*ing legs and that I was being rude. reluctantly i obliged. needless to say, this whole situation really pissed me off. clearly she knew that I am a man and have long legs. i understand its not ideal for her that i was taking up most of the leg room, but for me to close my legs is really uncomfortable. also, she was next to the aisle so she coulda stretched her legs out into the aisle. TLDR: sometimes a little empathy goes a long way. before women complain about men taking up all the leg room on the bus, try to put yourself in our shoes and how uncomfortable it is to squish your junk while riding the bus.
