14hh 10 year old Highland gelding. I bought Dougal over a year ago and since then he has been to pony club rallies and riding club shows. He successfully competed in all disciplines including Working Hunter, Showing and Dressage. Dougal is 100% bombproof out on the roads and was a favourite for riding and road safety tests and training at Craven College where he was before I bought him. He will be tied up and groomed, bathed and stands well to be trimmed (doesnt need shoes). Although he a saint on the roads and on the ground, he does need a competent rider when being schooled and when he’s being jumped as he can be cheeky. For this reason he is not suitable for a complete novice rider. The reason I am offering this lovely pony for sale is due to lack of time, I have a youngster to bring on and an older one to keep going therefore Dougal will just be stood in the field doing nothing.
