15.1hh chestnut blanket Appaloosa mare. 13 years old. Sheltowee Fling is her registered name & you can find her on all breed pedigree. Leads, loads, ties. Was a riding horse in her younger years then used as a broodmare. She has a scar on one of her front legs running from her hoof just past her coronet band. She cant be worked on hard ground (blacktop, lots of gravel, etc) or she limps. She is about 90% sound on pasture & could be used as a light riding horse. She was shown in Halter, Western Pleasure, & barrels until she was 6 when they started breeding her. She has been ridden twice so far with us with no problems. Previous owner showed us some pictures of her foals & she always throws color & size! She is built great, she is hot blooded & absolutely loves to run, & she passes speed & heart to her foals. She is high on the pecking order & is dominant over everyone except my Clydesdale mare at feed time. She is good around tractors, vehicles, four wheelers, & guns. Asking $850 for her or willing to trade for a registered stud/colt. Appaloosa, Quarter Horse, Paint, etc. She is located in Jackson County, TN. We can meet/deliver up to 2 hours from our address but no farther, thanks!
