15 GAME SEASON REVIEW- Part 1- Leicester City After 15 games is usually a good guide of what type of season your team is going to have. In this article we will look at the start to the season for one of our Championship clubs Leicester. We look at the positives, negatives, statistics for the first 15 games and expectations for the remainder of the season. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- LEICESTER CITY Position: 2nd W10 D2 L3 Top Goalscorer: David Nugent- 8 Most Assists: David Nugent- 5 Worst Discipline: Knockaert- 5 Yellows Most Appearances- 6 Players- 18 What an excellent start to the season for Foxes fans as they sit comfortably in 2nd place. The big fear going into the new the season was would the loss in last years playoffs have a negative effect on how they start this on? Credit must be given to Nigel Pearson as he he hasnt allowed this happen by keeping the same squad of players together from last season. The togetherness of the squad is shown in the fact that Pearson has only used 14 players that have played more than 12 games and only 18 players in total. Rest of the season: Leicester look set to stay in the top 6 of the Championship throughout the season. It is my belief that they will have a wobble at some point during the season but Pearson confidence in this squad will see them through this to gain at least a playoff spot. Marks out of 10 after 15 games: 9/10 Star Player after 15 ganes: ??Thats Up To Foxes Fans To Decide?? Let us know your thoughts on Leicesters start to the season... EMFT
