15 July,2014 : On the UPSC Ruling Class Reproduction Project There is considerable misconception about the ongoing protests against the dictatorial attempts of the UPSC to stop non-English speaking subaltern aspirants of the CSE posts. It is not protest by the ,Hindi enthusiasts but all other non-English speaking candidates. The present CSAT testing during the larger parts of 1990. Candidates from the deprived groups and rural subaltern background were getting selected. Now you know what does the ruling classes do when they rule,particularly their reproduction function is unsettled! They change the goal posts! The upper caste elites ran a canard that substandard candidates with no proper aptitude for administration were getting selected and that this was affecting the quality of governance! Promptly, the CSAT via English was introduced.Now, this is fine. Only the Iyers from St Stephens would qualify. The babus run the establishment and they wanted the CSE posts only for their name dropping wards. The UPSC membership in any case is comprised of,you guessed it, retired bureaucrats,civil and military.They also liberally run down candidates from the deprived backgrounds with comments like,”so you wanted to join the IAS”! This agitation is against the entrenched ruling class,in particular against what are termed as “administrators” but are nothing more than wheeler-dealers of patronage in Delhi. It should be suported by all right thinking change inducing Indians. Fight on,you brave young men and women from the deprived backgrounds. These bastards would not vacate their vintage position without a rough fight!
