15 years ago today, I said, I do to my God-sent husband, Thomas Tony Bagwell. He is my sanity in a world filled with insanity. He has supported me through political campaigns and public service, raising our child, pursuit of a new career, several years of school (and a few more to come). He listens to me while I talk about bodily fluids and functions at the dinner table. Hes told me on numerous occasions that I CAN do that math! :) He has been there to hold me and wipe my tears during the deaths of my father and my daughter. Hes never judged my motives because he knows my heart. He understands my desire for peace in relationships and to show Gods love to those around me. When hes sees I may be headed in the wrong direction emotionally, he gently guides me into discovering the right path, again without judgment. Hes strong and gentle. I dreamed of him before I met him, and Ive thanked God for him since our first date. Together, weve discovered that children of all ages can make us laugh and make us cry. I dont know what I did to deserve his love, but I am so thankful that I have it. I am blessed!! Happy anniversary, Tony! I did, I do, and I will love you forever...
