#1515 29/09/2014 21:14:07 A short story which shows importance of relationships! It was their anniversary, and Kritika was waiting forher husband Ishaan to show up. Things had changedsince their marriage, the once cute couple couldn’t- live-without-each-other had turned bitter. Kritika was waiting to see if Ishaan remembered it wastheir anniversary! Just as the door bell rang she ran to find her husbandwet and smiling with a bunch of flowers in his hand. Thetwo started re-living the old days. Making up forfights. But the moment paused when the phone in the bedroomrang. Kritika went to pick it up and it was a man. “Helloma’am I’m calling from the police station. Is this MrIshaan Mehra’s number?” “Yes it is!” “I’m sorry ma’am; but there was an accident and a mandied. We got this number from his wallet; we need you to come and identify his body.” Kritika’s heart sank! She was shocked! “But my husbandis here with me?” “Sorry ma’am, but the incident took place at 2 pm, whenhe was boarding the train.” Kritika was about to lose her conscience. How could thishappen? She had heard about the soul of the personcoming to meet a loved one before it leaves! She ran into the other room. He was not there. It wastrue! Oh God she would have died for another chance tomend every little fight! She rolled on the floor in pain. She lost her chance! Forever! Suddenly there was a noise from the bathroom, the dooropened and Ishaan came out and said “Darling, Iforgot to tell you my wallet got stolen today”. She sighed a relief and hugged him tightly. LIFE MIGHT NOT GIVE YOU A SECOND CHANCE. SO NEVERWASTE A MOMENT WHEN YOU CAN STILL MAKE UP FOR YOUR WRONGS!!! - ETC dept. boy
