155 Codeine Phosphate bottles recovered in Shopian Srinagar:Police in its drive against drug addiction today arrested seven peddlers and recovered huge quantity of Codeine Phosphate bottles from their possession meant for sale to the local youth in Shopian. Acting on a specific information, Shopian police today conducted many raids and arrested seven people, Jahangir Ahmad Mir, Showket Ahmad Najar, Reyaz Ahamd Reshi, Abid Hussain, Mohammad Iqbal Wagay, Shameem Ahmad Mir and Ashiq Hussain Mir. From their instances 155 bottles of Codeine Phosphate have been recovered so far. Shopian Police has registered a case FIR Number 103/2014 under section 8/21 NDPS Act and investigation has been started. More arrests and recoveries are expected.
