15th January LOVE TIE UPDATE = A cold but firm hand caught her mid-fall and pulled her back. Shocked she looked to the side of her to confront the stranger. Looking back at her was a man not much older than herself. ************************************************************************* (Once again Maria made her way passed rust coloured bark and deformed sycamores. Occasionally she would hear the sound of a chestnut falling to the ground or birds singing there last song of the day. The fragrance of bonfire smoke still lurked in the air. unable to see the path ahead of her, Maria stumbled along dips in the undergrowth, trying to keep a look out for tree roots so that she would not fall over. )
