The Manchester Evening News have quoted Andoni Zubizarreta as saying: Today Xavi is still our player and the number six shirt is still his. We spoke to him before the World Cup and when he returns from holiday we will speak to him again. For Xavi any news will be good for us. If he wants to stay that will be excellent news and if he wants to go we will part ways in the best way possible. 15.57 BST: Sky Italia have reported Inter Milan have told Atletico Madrid any attempts to sign Mauro Icardi or Samir Handanovic will be rebuffed. Unless the Spanish champions stump up £40 million for the Argentine forward there will be no sale. 15.50 BST: DONE DEAL! French outfit Dijon have signed Romain Almafitano from Newcastle United. The 24-year-old spent last season on loan at the French club and impressed enough that he was signed on a permanent deal on a free transfer. 15.46 BST: Mikel Artetas agent has re-iterated his client will not be leaving Arsenal this summer. Swansea want to hold on to Bony and are hoping a £25 million price tag will scare off any suitors.
