16 April 2009: THE DAY THAT GOT ME EXPELLED FROM NUST Still today my Family doesnt really understand me at all,waging a demonstration for tuition fees especially after they had fully paid my tuition wachibatanidza batanidza. You know the courage that led me to confront the already mounted RIOT POLICE in the face ( i just dont know how to explain the rage and anger i had within me)and due to a misunderstanding (was negotiating for the students to meet with the Vice Chancellor) taking the leaders police button stick in the heat of the moment simply ingited a revolution.......i might simply be blamed and rightfully so... because was always calling for a peaceful demonstration and then you find yourself disarming a police officer and waving the button stick in the air in a Victorious kind of way.... Till to this day i cant comprehend what followed after the riot police attacked us and the kind of destruction that ensured paNUST.... Being just released on bail three days before had to flee Bulawayo as i was being hunted by the CIO. iI am made to understand through interactions with other cdes that the soilders where called in after the reinforcements of the Police coulndnt contain the anger that the students had... To be honest will always envy kuseva kwa Vivid Gwede and Samson Nxumalo...and have taken notes so as to improve myself in that SEVARING department....lol ALL NUSTIANS OUT THERE: PLEASE ADD YOUR RECOLLECTIONS OF THAT DAY
