Organist Vasily Dolinsky (Moscow) An evening of organ music dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Honoured Artist of Russia, President of the Association of Organists and organ masters Russia Vasily Dolinsky. The program includes music composed by Girolamo Frescobaldi, Georg Muffat, Louis-Nicolas Clérambault, Johann Sebastian Bach, Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, César Franck, Olivier Messiaen. The duration of the concert is 2 hour 30 minutes. The concert consists of two parts. October 16. At the Organ Hall of the Taurida Palace there will be held a gala concert. The concert will feature Moscow organist, President of the Association of organists and organ masters of Russia, Honoured Artist of Russia Vasily Dolinsky. This concert will be dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the musician. Honoured Artist of Russia Vasily Dolinsky was born in 1954 in Moscow. He graduated from the Moscow State Conservatory, named after the composer Pyotr Tchaikovsky, in three specialities: organ, piano and choral conducting. Vasily Dolinsky studied at the master courses Leo Kremer in Speyer (Germany). He trained at the University of Music and Performing Arts Mozarteum in Salzburg with Professor Edgar Krapp (1990-1991). Since 1978, Vasily Dolinsky has been continuously busy. Vasily Dolinsky is a soloist-organist of Mosconcert (since 1989). He was the winner of many organ festivals held in Austria, Germany, France, Italy, Belgium and other nations. In 1996 he was invited to serve on the jury of the All-Russia lll Organ Competition in Kislovodsk (Deputy Chairman of the jury). The repertoire of Vasily Dolinsky consists of over 50 solo concerts. Included are works by Baroque composers, classic and romantic music and contemporary authors. Much attention is paid to the art of organ improvisation wherein is to be found the basis for improvisation given topics including on Russian themes. He has made numerous recordings for radio and audio CDs. Vasily Dolinsky constantly tours cities of Russia, CIS countries, Europe and the United States.
