16 September 2013 Media advisory To: All media Attention: News editors MECs THUSI AND DHLOMO TO DELIVER MUCH NEEDED SERVICES TO NONGOMA KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Social Development, Mrs Weziwe Thusi, will tomorrow join her health counterpart, Dr Sibongiseni Dhlomo, at a massive service delivery event in Nongoma, north of KwaZulu-Natal. The day will kick off with an official opening of a state of the art clinic in Dabhasi area’s ward 10. The Department of Health has invested R10 million towards the construction of the facility. The clinic will bring much relief to the people of Dabhasi as they currently have to travel long distances to access such a basic service. The MECs will then move to ward 5 where government will put up makeshift marquees providing a range of services such as health screening, processing of social grants, applications for identity documents etc. Details of the event are as follows: Date : 17 September 2013 Venue: Banzana School Time : 9am Members of the media are invited to attend.
