16 years ago on August 24 my mom passed away, I never knew who I was until she was gone. I think of the scripture....how old things pass away & all things become new. My prayers are that I teach & train my boys. That I will lead by example & they will come to me for advice & direction. That I will encourage them & not tear them down. The one thing she would be proud of is Ive moved on & dont live in the past & I love my step mom, we have a great relationship!
