16 years later we can finally move on. Move on from the Skate in the Crease. From Drury and Briere and that magical run from the spring of 2006. Move on from a population of Pominville that wasnt allowed to reach its potential. Move on from Afinogenov in Ovvvvvvvvertime in the playoffs. Move on from Teppo being suspended without pay for having heart complications (maybe you forgot about that?) There were parties in the plaza and parties in the streets. It was the peak of Miller Time, and well Vanek and those hands when he was right. Momma would always hide those cookies on the top shelf and those guys were good, scarrrrrry good . 16 years later the suffering can finally end and we can start to rebuild a team the way it should be done.
