16h 9yr old TB mare for sale or to lease in current yard (Meath). Shes not been ridden in 3 months as I have arthritis. She jumps 1m at ease. She loves Forest treks but wont go to the beach. She hacks out on quiet roads but needs company on busier roads. She works off voice command. She learns quickly once instructed or shown whats expected of her. She comes to you when you call her. This horse was in poor condition when I got her year and half ago. She was left to starve in a field. It only took me 3 months to build her back to the beauty she is today. She would best be suited to a female rider. She was ridden all summer by a 16 yr old girl who did loads of work with her and taking her to a lesson once a week. Also my 11yr old daughter was riding her in the Spring. She trots with her head tucked in now and loves to jump. She is not a novice ride as she can be forward going and can be quite strong when not ridden for a while but after around 5-10 minutes she listens to you and will slow down. If she is ridden every day she does as you ask straight away and can be mounted in the barn without taking off as she walks to the fields. She comes with Weatherbys Broodmare Passport. She has very good bloodlines. Only time vet has been called out to this horse is for her annual injection. She is great with farrier, dentist and will load to horse box no problem.
